The Friendship Box program, Sponsored by the American Red Cross, is a rewarding class or youth group activity that gives young people the opportunity to send small boxes filled with Health, Educational, and Recreational items to needy children here and abroad.  The young people who fill the boxes learn about caring and service,  and those who receive them enjoy the useful contents and thoughtfulness of their American Friends.  The program is a tanngible way of promoting friendship and understanding around the world.  If you are a teacher or youth group leader that would be interested  in this program call Angenette Wallace at the Chapter.
